How To Pamper

Start off with a quick visit to your local Scotmid or supermarket and grab all your favourite foods.  As it’s a special day, ditch the diet and stock up on the real naughties, such as double chip chocolate ice cream…mmm yummy!  Get yourself some nice flowers, and as it’s your day, of course you can have 2 dozen red roses! Buy that film you didn’t get around to seeing (you know the one with the gorgeous leading star!) Might even be best to get two of their films so you can do your own… ahem, film review.  If you don’t have any at home, get some tea light candles (they will come in handy if there is ever a power cut so it’s an economical buy!).

Run a nice warm bath; add the bath products and any extras you desire. Often I will add a little Lavender essential oil and also make an extra soothing bath soak by pouring half a cup of oats into a clean sock, tie it and pop it into the bath.  Take the petals off two or three of the flowers you purchased earlier and add to the bath once it’s full.  Light your candles, put some nice soft music on (I recommend Adele or Lana Del Rey) and simply relax and indulge.
Spend the rest of the night on the sofa with some chocolate ice cream, your movie, and most importantly full control of the television remote control!
Happy Valentine’s Day…
